Happy New Year!!!
12.31.03 (11:24 pm) [edit]
Okay, did no one happen to read it, or did you not know what to say about it? Either way, I don't really care. I hope someone reads this, and it really makes them think, but if no one ever does again, then at least I get some stuff off my chest. I'm goin to start puttin the Psalms in here like I told you earlier, in order. I'm gonna see how long I can go until something happens, I don't really know what. Just so you know, not reading this won't keep you from ever hearing it. If I don't start telling people about my God, then I deserve to be punched hard enough to break something, in the very least. So be prepared for Tuesday when we go back to school. Oh, and if any of you pray, then pray for me, I've got Doc. Creation/Data Design, whatever that is - Geometry - Wellness - Band. So next semester's gonna suck. But anyway, here's the Psalm: [LINE] Psalm 1 1. Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with scoffers. 2. But they delight in doing everything the LORD wants; day and night they think about his law. 3. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season without fail. Their leaves never wither, and in all they do, they prosper.
4. But this is not true of the wicked. They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind. 5. They will be condemned at the time of judgment. Sinners will have no place among the godly.
6. For the LORD watchesover the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.

This weekend was great!
12.30.03 (8:00 am) [edit]
I went to the most amazing thing this weekend! It was - undescribable. It was a Christian youth retreat called Extreme. It was in Pigeon Forge and lasted 3 days. But that's not what was so awsome about it. The first night we were there we had this great speaker that talked all about fear and how Christians let thier fear control them to where they can't witness to their friends, and I realized how true that was. I mean, there are so many times when I should have said something when something happened at school and I didn't. I was failing God, and my friends. So that night I rededicated myself to the Lord, and I hope I'm not the same person next time you see me. That's all I have now, but I just want everyone to know that God loves you, I don't care what you think.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
12.24.03 (8:30 pm) [edit]
I'm goin ahead and writing for tomorrow, cause I'm not gettin on here if I can help it... But I just wanted to tell ya'll Merry Christmas, and to remind you to not forget the true reason for the season, it's Jesus' birthday. I've always wondered how soon he learned he was going to die. When he was 5 did he know that when he was 33 or whatever that he was going to be hung on the cross?? Well, that's too depressing for now, we'll wait until Easter for that... But everyone be safe this year, don't do anything stupid. I love ya'll (as people) and don't want anything to happen to you cause you were doing something stupid. [LINE] This has nothing to do with Christmas, but I decided I'd start putting Psalms in my blog after my entry, so please read this, it might help you.
Psalm 46 (NLT)
1.God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. 2.So we will not fear, even if earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. 3.Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge!
4.A river brings joy to the city of our God, the sacred home of the Most High. 5.God himself lives in that city; it cannot be destroyed. God will protect it at eh break of day. 6.THe nations are in an uproar, and kingdoms crumble! God thunders, and the earth melts!
7.The LORD Almighty is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress.
8.Come, see the glorious works of the LORD: See how he brings destruction upon the earth. He breaks the bow and smaps the spear in two; he burns the shields with fire.
10."Be silent, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world."
11.The LORD ALmighty is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress.

12.18.03 (2:15 pm) [edit]
That concert wasn't that bad today. I have no idea what they were singing, though, so maybe the words stank, but I had fun. We were up there in the front. Yeah, those guys didn't look all that bad... It was really short, though. And it got hot in there. I was closer to people than I've ever wanted to be. **shudder** Well, I really don't have a lot to say... Rachel, u need to call Mrs. Kevina bout tomorrow, cause she don't know if ur goin. Okay, I'm done.

The Night Before Christmas
12.16.03 (2:25 pm) [edit]
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there. The children were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of sugarplums danced in their heads; And Mamma in her kerchief, and I in my cap, Had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap.

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, Tore open the shutter, and threw up the sash. The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow Gave the luster of midday to objects below; When what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer, With a little old driver, so lively and quick, I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick!
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came, And he whistled and shouted and called them by name. "Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen! On, COmet! on, Cupid! on, Donder and Blitzen! -- To the top of the porch, to the top of the wall, Now dash away, dash away, dash away, all!"

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly, When they meet with an obstacle mount to the sky, So, up to the housetop the coursers they flew, With a sleigh full of toys--and St. Nicholas too. And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head and was turning around, Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound: He was dressed all in fur from his head to his foot, And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.

A bundle of toys he had flung on his back, And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack. His eyes, how they twinkled! His dimples, how merry! His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry;
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow, And the beard on his chin was as white as the snow. The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth, And the smoke, it encircled his head like a wreath. He had a broad face and a little round belly That shook, when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly. He was chubby and plump--a right jolly old elf: And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself; A wink of his eye, and a twist of his head, Soon gave me to know there was nothing to dread. He spoke not a word, but went straigh to his work, And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk, And laying his finger aside of his nose, And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose.
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, And away they all flew like the down of a thistle. But I heard him exlaim, ere he drove out of sight, "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!"

I'm back!!!
12.10.03 (7:47 pm) [edit]
Did u miss me? Mom banned the comp. from me, cause I didn't do chores Saturday. Then I feel asleep after lunch Sunday and didn't get them done, cause I woke up at 4:44, or something, and I barely had enough time to get ready for MYF. Which, btw, ya'll can come to. It's at the FUMC in Tracy, it's the one on the hill, next to Hobbs Hill. It starts at 5:00, and's over at 6:00. It's not that bad, we spend 30 min playin games and all that good stuff. We really need more high school people. It's me and Sara Griswald and her brother and 3 other 8th graders. So, anywho, I finally got them done in time to watch my favorite T.V. show today, and it didn't come on!!! Maddening I tell you, maddening. But at least I got back on the internet, so that's great. School's almost over!!! Me so happy... I'm goin to spend all day the 20th sleepin.... Friday we're goin to the Sewanee reunion!!!! It's so great. Of course, the only person that we don't see every day anyway is Andrew, and our teachers... The other dude that was there, Perry, got "in trouble" as Ron said, but he wouldn't tell us anymore, but that he wouldn't be able to come. That's really depressing. He was a pot-head Sewaneesian, but it stinks that he got in trouble, even if he probably deserved it... Anywho, the people from Grundy were Ashley, Angel, Stephanie, me, Jacob, Jamie, Jay, and Brandon. Okay, I'm done, cause I don't feel like talkin anymore, so I leave u with this final thougth: BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH

I'm back, finally. (like u care)
12.06.03 (3:00 pm) [edit]
We didn't have to go to the parade, that was great!!! We went to Crossville yesterday to see some concert at the Playhouse. It was a banjo player. It wasn't as bad as it sounds. He was a real hick, made us look civilized, but it was cool, I guess. He could play it while swingin it around, so that was neat. I can't even remember what's happened since the last time I wrote, so I'm not goin to tell u bout my life, cause u don't care. Uhhhhh... Well, I don't have a lot to say. Oh! If anyone wants to go to Gatlinburg the 27th, 28th, and 29th of Dec. It's a Christian youth retreat. I'll talk more bout it later, when I know stuff bout it. I cost $99. It's really not just for kids, anyone can go. That's all I got for now, cya'll later.

I had the perfect title a sec ago...
12.01.03 (5:00 pm) [edit]
Well, my Thanksgiving Break was great. Up until this morning when I realized that my English project is due Wednesday, and I haven't even started. Better off than Rachel, though. She hasn't even read her book... Wednesday Jason and Amy came home, and we rode horses all day, like I said... Thursday we went over to Grandmother Bell's house for Thanksgiving. Great ham. That night Micheal (Amy's bf) came, and we played Risk. Great game. He spent the night (slept in Jason's room, Jason slept in my room and I slept in Amy's room with Amy), then he and Amy went to M'boro to pick up Tristen (his son) and get a cat that Amy took to school to neuter/spay. They left early in the morning, and Mom and Dad went to Wal-mart cause of the big sale crap. I asked if PS2s were on sale, but they didn't say anything... That afternoon we all went to Spring City to see Mom's parents. We had to take 3 cars, cause Amy needed her car because she rode with Micheal and she was goin back to Knoxville, and Jason was stayin an extra day and goin back to Huntsville, and then we had to get back home. I actually read my book Friday night, stayed up til 1 00. Then got up at 9 00. Then my aunt and her daughter, my aunt and uncle and their 3 kids, my aunt and uncle and their 2 kids + their kids' kids came and we had Thanksgiving again. Great ham. Then we played Risk. Great game. Then Mom, Dad, and I came home, went to church on yesterday, MYF last night, and school today. And now I'm done, ty 4 tunin in...
